A downloadable game

An SRD built to use ONLY the oddly-sized dice from DCC—called Zocchi dice—in new and interesting ways.

Mechanics currently missing but intended to include:

  • Armor/harm resistance
  • Gear's impact on SKILLS and actions
  • Character advancement
  • Tables!

Purely experimental, wholly untested, built to build on.

Written for 3-6 players, one of which being the Arbiter (GM).

Created by Zack Busch (Bammax Games). Inspired by Zocchi dice set, most commonly known from Dungeon Crawl Classics (DCC). Also inspired by Dancing with Bullets Under a Neon Sun.

Thank you! I really wanted to experiment with these as a foundation of an NSR-like system, and I do think I’m gonna keep chasing it! Luckily, I ought to have more time to do so this week.

Part of me knows there’s a very well-founded and genuine argument to introduce a d10 and d20 in here, but…where’s the fun in that? 😅
