ABOUT THIS GAME

Inspired by Supernatural, Warehouse 13, The Dresden Files, and similar media, BASI6S releases players into the extraordinary and inexplicable of the everyday world. Dive into the cross-section of magic, myth, folklore, and science fiction with 2-5 friends to prevent supernatural chaos!

BASI6S rejects the need for badges and titles: players can explore the unknown as normal people every bit as much as they can as, say, park rangers or vamp slayers or TLA agents.

One player needs a copy of the BASI6S trifold pamphlet. Every player needs:

• A comfortable fistful of d6 – four of one color or variation, four of another (or, eight d6)
• Character sheets (like on the back of the pamphlet) and writing utensils or your notes app

BASI6S is designed for one-shots and short arcs: there are no levels to gain or lose, and there is no experience. It's also designed for easy portability, made printer-friendly on Letter-sized paper to be easily printed, trifolded, and carried around. Bring BASI6S to the pub, to your game night, or wherever you might have 2-3 hours to knock out a game!
