WHERE WE ARE

SPAR is now on Itch!…sort of.

I’ve set this up as a preview page for SPAR, which—if I have any luck whatsoever—should be fully set to launch by Q1 or Q2 2024, hopefully in print capacity.

This does not mean you’ll be waiting until Q1/Q2 2024 to play SPAR!

I’ll be launching beta rules for SPAR by (hopefully) the end of August 2023 at latest. The GM section (“Operator Resources”) will be undergoing the most changes between now and then, along with the bestiary (“Anomalies & Combatants”). Note that I said beta – these core rules will be in flux between initial and final release.

WHERE WE’RE GOING

Now, the part where I need your help!

I’d love to do a print run (call it wanting to celebrate what would be a year’s worth of hard work). There’s a couple of ways that would happen:

1. I do an upfront print run, through Mixam or the like, then sell and ship on my own over time. BARRIER: It’s a big upfront cost, BUT you can get SPAR in print whenever you want!
2. I crowdfund a print run—Kickstarter, Itchfunding, who knows! BARRIER: It’s a shitload of work, and I’ve never done it before, BUT I’m more than willing to figure it out, and y’all could get some cool stretch goals out of it!
